Towards an Integration of Work and Play
This installation looked at a complexity of attitudes towards labor and enjoyment.
Hearts and Money
Materials: Chicken hearts, cow heart, deer heart, raccoon heart, opossum heart, jars, mortar and pestles, coins, plexi and wood circles, animal yoke
Clocktower
Originally I wanted to create this piece as a monument to labor. However I was disappointed that the hearts were imprisoned by the pitchforks.
Materials: pitchforks, cow hearts, institutional clock, rocks, glass jars.

Unplug the Baby
I call pacifiers "oral fixation trainers" because I believe that children need to be heard and listened to not plugged up with a pacifying device. I think that pacifiers often start children in a habit of oral stimulation in place of communication and emotional processing.
Sanctuary
Materials: Roses, latex sheet, ribbon, clock parts.
