Man is Not the Measure: Look Into My Eyes as You Destroy Me

Humans often view themselves as at the apex of creation. Granted, humans are quite a beautiful result of evolution but our arrogance has lead to quite naive and destructive behaviors that currently threaten the entire biosphere of our planet. On the back of animal faces are printed various ways animals are killed by humans, i.e. poisoned, slaughtered, starved etc.

Materials: various bones (Buffalo skull, deer, cow, chicken), cage, chalice filled with red wax, painting on mylar in form of Vitruvian Man by Leonardo de Vinci, plastic tube, whisky bottle in the form of the Liberty Bell, paintings and drawings of animal faces on paper, string, paper clips.
