MANY THANKS to the individuals and organizations that have helped me fund my work.

Most of my installation work is done specifically for public space to stimulate discourse related to questions of democracy, social ideology and personal liberation. It is financially challenging to do this type of work because it is obviously not very sellable and funding for individual artists is scarce these days.

My installations are not very practible to purchase unless you are a serious collector or museum.  However, my paintings and sculptures are also for sale.   My works range in price from $20 - $4000. Go to WORKS FOR SALE for a complete list.

Painting is a meditative process for me in which I think about such things as interconnectedness, creative flow, transformation and biological and social forces. It is my hope that the paintings depict my love of the world and my enjoyment of thought. They have always been my private work (compared to my installations which are for the public)  but I’ve decided to try to sell them.  I’d love for you to have one.  I also have a funny and sad sculptures called VICARIOUS NATUREwhich depicts toy animals watching their environments on computer screens and I am also going to sell ceramic hearts from the SUPERMAXCHRISTIANITY  piece.

Thanks in advance for your support.  If you can't give any financial support  I would greatly value hearing any comments you have. Please contact me at bracette@terracom.net    I’ll keep you posted about the development of my work. I’m currently working on an exhibit titled THE PRISON PROJECT  which will be exhibited in 2002.

Thank you for your generosity. I look forward to hearing from you.

In peace and struggle,

Beth Racette
